Sardines with Odong (OTIN - Odong with Tinapa)

I so wonder why this type of food is so especial and a favorite of my hubby. Aside that it's easy to prepare, the ingredients are readily available even in the smallest sari-sari store in town. This also won't cost you that much. I'm not a cook but trying to be one, yet I can prepare this food right away because of its no sweat procedures.

Here are its ingredients:
  • One (1) can sardines (you may try the hot flavoured one) (the number of cans also varies in the amount of food you prepare)
  • Three (3) to four (4) packs of Odong (Odong is a type of noodle)
  • Small amount of cooking oil
  • Shallots (Pulang Sibuyas, Sibuyas Bumbay)
  • Garlic
  • Salt
Procedure:

1) Prepare all the ingredients.
2) Sautee the garlic and shallots in the small amount of cooking oil.
3) Add the sardines.
4) Add the noodle (odong).
5) Add a little amount of water.
6) Pour small amount of salt.
7) Simmer for 3-5 minutes.

This is best served and eaten while hot. So, just prepare enough of it to savour its taste while hot.
